What occasions do people typically purchase these for?
Our star maps make great anniversary, wedding, engagement, birthday, and new parent gifts. Each poster is specific to a certain date and place, so it's a projection of what the stars looked like above when a special moment happened in your life. It's the perfect gift for the special someone in your life, or to remember life's greatest moments.
What size should I get?
Our sizes range from 8"x10" all the way up to 24"x36". Our most popular is the 18"x24" size, as the 8"x10" and 12"x18" make good items for desks, and 16"x20" and 18"x24" are good for smaller walls, and the 24"x36" is better for larger walls.
What should I put for the title?
It depends on the occasion! For a wedding, "The Start of Us" is the post popular, "She Said Yes" is commonly used for an engagement, and "When Our Stars Aligned", "The Night Sky", "Under These Stars", "It Was Written In The Stars", "When Two Became One", "When It All Began", are popular for anniversaries. For birthdays, you can put the child's name or a special note to your parents for Mother's/Father's Day or birthdays.
What's the difference between poster, framed poster, and canvas?
Our poster comes as an unframed matte poster rolled in a heavy duty protective tube. Our framed poster is our matte print that's framed in a black 0.75" wood frame. The canvas comes pre-wrapped with a 1.5" edge and is made from cotton. The framed poster and the canvas both come ready to hang, so these make the best gift options. The canvas is slightly cheaper than the framed print.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we're able to ship all over the world. Framed and canvas wrapped items cost much more to ship, while the poster is rolled in a tube so it's more economical to ship.
What happens if the package is damaged or lost?
If your order is damaged or lost, we will print and reship at no cost to you once we receive photos of the damages. We then have to make your item again, which can take a few days.
What is the processing time?
Your item will arrive to an address in the US in around 6-8 business days, but sometimes framed items, custom items, and canvas prints take a little more time (especially during Valentine's Day and Christmas!). We make everything from scratch so we ask for patience while creating your order! You can upgrade the shipping to have it arrive in as little as 2-3 business days for an additional fee.
Can I see the final image of the poster?
The preview you see on the screen will be almost identical to the poster you are receiving. Once you make your purchase, we will be sending you a final proof via email before we print, so if there are any changes you need done, please send an email over within 24 hours.
My title is too long for the poster, can I make it longer?
The title has a limit of around 2 lines, so if you have something longer, we recommend putting it in the notes section as there will be more room.
Will you call the shipping company on my behalf?
No, we're sorry, but we're unable to call the shipping company on your behalf. We have a small staff and all of your tracking information is included when the order is shipped, so we ask that you call the shipping provider with any questions. If there's a major issue, such as a lost package, please contact us and we'll help with a reshipment.
What if it's shipped to the wrong address?
If the address was sent to the wrong place due to our error, we will ship one out and pay the cost. If it's due to your mistake, we will have to create a new one for you and ship it out, and we charge 50% of the item cost + shipping for this.
Can I change the shipping address?
We will accept address changes within 1 business day of your purchase. If your request comes after that, we will try out best, but we can't guarantee that the address will be changed.
What if my item has incorrect information on it?
If this is due to our mistake, we will recreate your item and ship it to you at our expense. If it's due to your mistake, we will correct the problem and ship to you at a 50% off price + shipping.
